Nathan Summers, son of Cyclops and a clone of Jean Grey, was sent into the future as an infant to stop the threat of his techno-organic infection. He returned to the century of his birth to deal the ever-present threat of Apocalypse.

Born in Egypt as En Sabah Nur, Apocalypse is possibly the world's first mutant. He has long believed that only the strong will survive, and is now preparing to put his theory to the test.
