Downtime is not something that sits well with a Canadian superhero team that wants nothing more than to fight the evil beings that plague their native land, like Llan, the Sorcerer and his evil mystical army of late. The entire Alpha Flight team, which is now dealing in the double digits and waiting for the return of three of their mainstay team members, is getting anxious of late.

"I bet I could have dealt with Llan easier than our three mystics could have," Northstar said, complaining and venting as usual.

"Jean-Paul, if you don't have something nice to say why don't you not say it, non?" Aurora, Northstar's sister and companion in crime fighting responded to his comments. For years, the two have quarrelled because Aurora have chosen a mate in Sasquatch, the scientist Walter Langkowski, and recently the two have agreed to marry eventually. They have talked about the marriage ceremony after this whole evil mystic affair is over and done with. Talked about in private, without breathing a word of it to Jean-Paul and Alpha Flight, as a whole.

Walter Langkowksi transformed into his orange furry self as Sasquatch and approached Northstar, who was still fuming and fumed more when Sasquatch was present, ready for a fight. "I think, Northstar, that maybe you should shut yer trap before I paste ya one, like the time we were waiting to attack Omega Flight?" *

"No, Walter," Northstar said, snidely, "I will wait until the day that you two tie the knot. You know the part when the priest says, 'If anyone objects to this marriage, please speak up now'. That's when I'll make my move and make sure that that mockery of a marriage never takes place again."

"Jean-Paul, you wouldn't dare--?!?" Aurora screamed at the top of her lungs. Her voice squeaked higher than her usual decibel levels.

"Northstar, if you ever pull a stunt like that, I will personally make you sorry for the rest of your life," Sasquatch said, changing back into his Walter self. "I would punch your lights out now, but frankly, you're just not worth it. I would much rather save my strength for Llan and the Army he created for us to combat."

"Okay, you two, stop clowning around, eh?" Puck announced, as he pointed at a nimbus of energy that was being fashioned in the center of the conference room.

"Who's clowning?" Walter asked. Then, his casual expression changed to an awestruck one when everyone in the room saw that three familiar figures appear through the energy nimbus. Walter was the first to voice his opinoins. "Hey, they're back!!!"

The nimbus of energy disappeared once Talisman commanded it to. She had a serious expression upon her face. "I have found Llan's HQ. It is in Ontario. Now, it is time for Phase II of our plan to end his plans. We must unbrainwash ther Jade Dragon and China Force. For that end, I will need Kamikaze and a serum that Madison Jeffries had been working on."

"Mr. Gentry, I have to talk to you-" Madison Jeffries said, entering the main conference room with his wife Lillian Crawley. "It's about Kamikaze and it concerns both of us but mainly my darling wife."

Gentry adjusted his thick black rimmed glasses that he needed to see everything in sight more than just for reading. He knew what this was about. Kamikaze had already talked to him about the fact that he embraced Lillian and kissed her full on the mouth. Harada felt that it was necessary to inform their impromptu leader and comrade-in-arms what was going on behind closed doors. What made the whole situation worse and compounded matters entirely, according to Gentry, was that Madison saw the passion play without Diamond Lil and Kamikaze knowing it at first before he revealed his presence to them. And even worse than that, Kamikaze and Madison were convinced that Lil enjoyed it.

"I know what's on your mind, Madison, but there's nothing that we can do about it since Talisman has recruited Kamikaze for her mission to free the Jade Dragon from the enchantment of the Dream Queen. What do you suggest?" Gentry asked.

There was a furrow on Madison's brow. He immediately flared into anger. His cheeks went red and his face was flushed. "You have gotsa be kiddin' me!! I think that we should out Kamikaze from the Flight. I thought that from the beginning when Diamond Lil first decided to recruit and reform him." He turned to his wife. "I honestly don't know what you were thinking when you brought him to our headquarters. It was pure and absolute insanity on your part and my part for agreeing to it. And on the part of the Flight for allowing to become a member of our team."

"Madison, I feel just as badly as you do over the whole thing but we can't erase what happened." Lil placed her hand on Madison arm but he tossed it aside. It was obvious that he was upset.

"So you admit it?"

"Admit what?"

"That you enjoyed the kiss. Admit it. You love Harada, that blasted Kamikaze, more than you do me."

Lil's eyes flashed with alert and alarm. "Maddie, you're crazy!! Did you spend all night concocting that fantasy?!"

"All this is fine and wonderful," Gentry said, facing them, trying to separate one from the other so that they could listen to him for a change instead of arguing amongst themselves. "But this doesn't change the fact that it will have to be a team decision whether Kamikaze stays or goes but I will definitely keep this - ahem, kiss-in mind. It will be a deciding factor in this matter. I know I haven't been all too thrilled with Kamikaze's role in the team tho he has had many successes, including the capture and imprisonment of Brainwave and the defeat of AIM. I suggest you two calm down, settle this, and maybe when Kamikaze returns you can talk to him about it and see what he suggests."

Ontario, Canada

Another nimbus of energy appears out of thin air and suddenly, Talisman and Kamikaze are there. They are clothed in their super hero attire and are ready for action. For the past few months, Llan and his mystical army have been plaguing Canada and Alpha flight, of late.

What they saw towering before them was a large skyscraper type building. It had silver towers and clear glass windows. It had an incomprehensible height. It would take nothing for Talisman to reach the room that Llan is holed up in.

"Do you have the serum, Harada?" Talisman asked her team-mate.

"Yes, it is right here," Harada commented, while patting his pocket within his ninja costume. "Shall we complete our mission post haste?"

"Don't you ever crack a smile?"

I did today when I kissed Lillian, he thought, remembering the time earlier today when he smooched with Madison's wife. "Only when you're not looking," he said.

"Wow, you actually made a joke. That's a first. But we better get busy." Talisman gestured her arms wildly and the two Alphans were levitated into the air and seconds later they reached the top floor of the Ontario skyscraper, where they expected Llan and his army to be. Especially the Jade Dragon and his team of China Force.

"Avert your eyes, my friend," Talisman said. "To borrow a line from the Beaubier twins."

Talisman gestured again and the glass shattered into a million pieces. Kamikaze did indeed 'avert his eyes' as talisman instructed and looked in the other direction as the glass broke.

"C'mon, I don't think that they're expecting us, we have the element of surprise."

"This should be fun," Kamikaze said, as he clenched his fists.

"Prepare to die!" Kamikaze shouted as his battle-cry. Llan was no where to be seen but China Force greeted them.

"You stay here, Kamikaze," Talisman said, "I'll try to find Dei Guan. He has to be here somewhere." With that said, Talisman separated from her partner and Kamikaze was alone to do battle with the Chinese operatives.

Rabbit was the first one to attack Kamikaze. She pounced in the air, using her incredible leg muscles to propel her forward. She landed on Kamikaze's chest, hurling him against a silver wall.

"Oho, rumble time," Kamikaze said, licking his wounds. "You just askin' for a beating, Rabbit."

"He's not the only one," said Ox, as he flexed his muscles. He raced towards Kamikaze, swinging his arms in the air.

"You one big mother," Kamikaze remarked. He took out his Chinese throwing stars and hurling them at the waiting forms of China Force, connecting with Rabbit and Ox, but missing Horse, Monkey, Dog, and Rat. Rabbit was knocked unconscious by the poisoned tips of the throwing stars but the stars had little effect on Ox.

"Gonna kick your ass," Ox said, as he took the stars in his hands and tossed them back at the ninja. Kamikaze knew that contact with the throwing stars would cause certain death within him so he jumped out of its direct path.

"Not if I get him first," a new voice said. This time the prescence of a new voice wasn't Llan, the Sorcerer but Dei Guan, the Jade Dragon in his supernatural form. "I know what you're doing here, Kamikaze, and if you want to brainwash me, you're sadly mistaken."

"We are not here to brainwash you, only to undo the damage the Dream Queen did to your mind," Talisman said.

"Where have you been?" Kamikaze asked.

"That's not important. I will restrain him." Talisman gestured her arms a final time and bands of mystical energy held Dei Guan fast.

"Now, Kamikaze," Talisman yelled at the height of her decibel levels to command.

Kamikaze jumped forward and injected the Jade Dragon with the serum that Madison Jeffries had whipped up. Jade Dragon immediately changed back into his human form and fell asleep.

Before China Force could attack them anew, Talisman transported herself, Kamikaze, and the unconscious Dei Guan to the Alpha Complex. While she was preparing herself to leave, she teleported the skyscraper HQ of Llan's and everyone in it to Live World.
