The end is upon us. A Sphere of malevolent force, one wrapped in midnight black, is tearing a hole throughout the Omniverse, its course unswerving in its pursuit of the 616. Driven by hate and bondless too the fragile whims of time, its corruption will decay the foundations and tear asunder the boundaries of the Multiverse itself. Brain Braddock remains oblivious to the approaching doom, a Captain who has renounced his duty too the Corps, and a man who must soon face a test…one he has already failed…

Brian Braddock, unlike many costumed heroes, has long decided to not allow his alter ego too define his life.  Both strong willed and determined, Brian has overcome many personal demons in his life, and has emerged stronger because of it.  With his life as Captain Britain now behind him, choosing too serve his country through other means, Brian looks to the future with his family in mind.  Fate however, and a destiny set in motion by Merlin himself, have other ideas.

When it comes to Meggan Braddock, innocence and naivety should not be confused.  Despite a difficult childhood, one which she spent secluded from society, Meggan has instead chosen to embrace the best the world has too offer, instead of its worst.  While sometimes childlike, Meggan is no fool, and knows full well of the evils that exist in this world.  Instead of being clouded by it, she instead lives a life in open defiance of it, setting herself as an example of the best that we can be.

As the twin sister of Brian Braddock, Elizabeth Braddock has spent many long years defining a role for herself in the world.  Despite several set backs, and the malevolent will of others twisting her body and soul to their whims, she finally found her place as the leader of the Hand.  Her current whereabouts are unknown…
