acumen to form Helping Harlem, a community outreach program that
has spread to al four corners of the United States and been
re-christened Helping Hands. Now as the high-flying Falcon, Sam
has chosen to take a more active role in all communities who need
aid of any kind, as a member of the Champions. |

Bonita Juarez has the ability to
create heat on a fundamental level. As Firebird, she uses her
ability to project flame, fashion a protective aura, and fly.
Seemingly immortal, for even the vacuum of space can not kill her,
Bonita believes her powers were granted by the grace of God. Once
a member of the West Coast Avengers, Bonita has dedicated herself
to the Helping Hands organization as a social worker. Now
approached by the heroic Champions, Firebird has found a new cause
for which to fight, and aid those in need. |

The mysterious cousin of the former
Avenger Moondragon, Pamela Douglas has similar abilities of
telekinesis and telepathy, though the range and extent of these
abilities is unknown. Once relegated to an existence roaming the
depths of space, Sundragon has returned to Earth to investigate
the supposed death of Heather Douglas, and hopes that by joining
some of those that knew her best, she'll better understand the
sacrifice her cousin made in the pursuit of heroism. |
