A few hours passed since the Fantastic Four witnessed the startling newscast. Reed sat in his library and brushed up on theories of dimensional pocket universes while Sue was in the kitchen where she cleaned the dirty dishes for the day. Johnny had gone out to enjoy some time out on the town. Outside of the Fantastic Four's secure headquarters in the city of Manhattan villainy was afoot. A van circled around Four Freedom's Plaza, the Fantastic Four's old headquarters, with the evil Wizard at its helm. The Wizard had become obsessed with humiliating Reed since his plans had always been foiled in the past.

This base has been abandoned ever since that Thunderbolt's fiasco of Zemo," he thought. I must do something to bring the Fantastic Four out of hiding so that I may introduce them to my new Frightful Four.

Behind the Wizard in the shadows showed the outline of the Wizard's newest recruits in silence. Just as Wizard began to plot for the Fantastic Four's down fall a beeping sound emanated from some of the computer paraphernalia and the Wizard turned his attention to the monitor.

Ha! So my mysterious ally was quite correct. The genetic tracker that he gave me shows that a member of the Fantastic Four has left their scanner protecting headquarters and is currently on the move.

Johnny walked through Central Park and he looked back on the day's events. The day's training session was the most pressing matter on his mind.

Reed watched Ben manipulate the elasticity of his body.

"See my good friend. My powers aren't as useless as you perceived", said Reed.

Johnny recalled further events of the training session.

"Hey everyone! Check this out! I created a neat invisible construct that I can slide on. Can ya'll see it?" asked Johnny.

A giant smile fell upon Ben's face.

"Heh, Johnny we can't see a thing you're invisible", stated Ben.

This very phrase from Ben was stuck in Johnny's head. Johnny wouldn't let it go. For one that always prided himself on his flamboyant super-heroic activities this would not do. Johnny thought of ways to redeem his bruised ego and faltering self-esteem.

Hmm, what can I do to show the world I'm still a big shot? Oh, yeah. I just got me an idea.

Ben sat on the couch and watched the television with excitement. Ben had received a great tip on a dog race and watched it being televised with anticipation. Ben's elongated arm stretched across the room with remote in hand just as Reed walked by. Reed gave Ben an affirming nod.

"Well, I see you finally discovered how to get the remote without getting up", chuckled Reed.

Ben sat with a stunned look on his face. As the dog race began a special report from the news interrupted the program.

"Holy Aunt Petunias flowers!"

The newscaster from earlier in the day reappeared on the television screen.

"We have just received an interesting update from our report on the Fantastic Four. We have just received a comment from a former member of the Fantastic Four."

Ben looked perplexed and shook his head.

Former, have I been missing something? he thought.

The newscaster continued.

"Johnny Storm a.k.a. the Human Torch, ex-flame powered superhero has stated that the Fantastic Four are still around. In fact, he plans to show the world by attempting a stunt on Ellis Island."

Ben was not the only one to get wind of the news report as the Wizard followed the beacon and saw the news report.

What!! How arrogant the F.F. have become. Flaunting themselves about like they are darlings of the media. This I will not allow.

Cosmicus and his space vessel speeded towards Earth. The computer continued to brief Cosmicus on the situation.

"Cosmicus, You must be cunning to ensnare them. Be aware that you are equipped with one of the most powerful weapons in the universe", bellowed a metallic voice.

Morning had arrived and Johnny slowly limped from out of his room and rubbed his eyes. To his astonishment a woman blocked his pathway. Johnny still a little groggy could only make out some fluffy slippers and a blue robe. As Johnny walked towards the woman a realization came to his mind that he maybe in for a big bruising.

Gulp, I think I've been a bad boy.

It wasn't any woman; it was an angry Sue Richards who brandished her hand towards Johnny's direction.

"Johnny, do you realize what you have done?"

Johnny stepped back and blurted a few line out in response.

"Sis, of course I do. We're going to show the super villain community that the Fantastic Four is badder then ever."

Sue looked in disbelief at her little brother.

"Now is not the time to be showing the world your childish attitude!!" Screamed Sue.

Johnny realized that an argument with his older sister would be futile. Johnny turned invisible and left the room. Ben and Reed ran up the stairs to see what all the noise was about.

"Wow, Suzie way to put the clamps on your little bro's ego", stated Ben.

Sue turned to Ben and Reed with her face flaring red.

"Johnny gets me so mad sometimes. Well knowing how my little brother is that stubborn mule is likely to go anyway", declared Sue.

"Of course, which means we all will have to go to keep an eye on him", added Reed.

Ellis Island bustled with activity as droves of reporters and television cameramen commandeered the island in anticipation of Johnny's stunt. A large stage was affixed with a red curtain and a banner hang above that proclaimed the world's love for the Fantastic Four. In the bay a boat sped rapidly towards Ellis Island. Aboard the vessel was none other then the Wizard and his villainous crew.

"The plan is simple", commented the Wizard. "I shall disguise myself as a news reporter. The rest of you shall remain on this vessel till I feel the time to strike is right."

A crackling voice rang from the shadows of the boat.

"I, Curano warrior queen of the Ribo tribe should hope so."

Curano spoke with a strong accent. She was not one to speak in a language, which she hated so much. She was thin with her fingernails long and sharp. Her straight long hair accentuated the features of her emaciated face. She was a warrior bred in the deepest regions of Africa and showed pride in her accomplishments. Her body was draped with a leopard skin body suit that she had acquired during her first kill at age four. The Wizard moved his hand to his mouth as a sign to quiet Curano.

"My dear, no need to worry. You will be able to punish the oppressors and what better way then striking down a few of their beloved heroes", comforted the Wizard.

Curano stared deep into the Wizard's eyes.

"Wizard, my love. Your words continue to bring pleasure to my ears", spoke Curano.

The Wizard would have cringed in fear if he had been privy to Curano's thoughts.

Your mouth is the only thing keeping the elephant scum that you are alive.

Johnny stood across Ellis Island on the main land and planned his entrance.

Ok, how can I make a grand entrance? Oh wait a minute I do believe I have an idea.

The reporters on the island gazed in astonishment as a giant tidal wave headed their way with an invisible Johnny Storm perched on top.

Awesome, the surfers can eat their hearts out, thought Johnny.

The television stations began to film the events live. One reporter commented.

"No need to fear. To the right is a giant tidal wave coming in our direction. It is no doubt the grand entrance of the Fantastic Four."

The tidal wave grew smaller and smaller as it reached the island. Johnny appeared before the crowd drenched in water and the crowd clapped and cheered. A few minutes later as Johnny changed out of his wet clothes the rest of the Fantastic Four landed on Ellis Island in the pogo plane.

"Ben, get ready to smile pretty for the cameras", stated Sue.

Johnny stood upon the stage and addressed the crowd.

"Hello one and all. I'm here to put a show on for the population of Fantastic Four fans. I plan do to what David Copperfeild did, but I won't be using any mirrors, or optical illusions. To put this simply I'm going to make the Statue of Liberty disappear before your eyes. Watch now as I use my powers to make the Statue of Liberty invisible", gloated Johnny.

The statue disappeared and seconds later reappeared which caused the crowd to clap.

A newscaster stepped up to a microphone.

"Well, there you have it. We at first hand witnessed the Fantastic Four and they still have their powers. Super villains of the world better watch their backs."

In Latveria Doom sat upon his throne and viewed the televised escapades of Johnny Storm. A doombot ran urgently into the room.

"Lord Doom, we have picked up strange energy readings emanating from the Earth's atmosphere."

Doom showed disinterest into the droid's comments.

"Save it for later. One of two things will come out of this confrontation to come. Either Reed will be destroyed as instructed, or that pea-brain trinket maker, the Wizard, will once again be humiliated. Either way it will be time well spent."

Doom laughed and continued to watch the Fantastic Four's program in process.

Back on the boat of the Frightful Four Curano comforted another member.

"My dear Moltarblast, calm down", consoled Curano.

Moltarblast was a being of pure lava. His body was encased within a specially treated glass containment suit, which was combined with state of the art cybernetics. Of course although his unknown creator gave Moltarblast the gift of life he had fallen short in the brains department. Affixed to each of his arms were cannons, which he used to spray lava towards his foes with.

"Kill, Kill Thing, Blast!! Blast!!, ranted Motarblast.

Curano called upon the final colleague of the new Frightful Four to ease Moltarblast. Phermona was her name and no man could resist her persuasions. Phemrona had a knack for controlling men. She relished in controlling their bodies and minds. One side of her face was covered with a mask that hid the origin of her powers that she had inherited.

"Phermona, come and use your powers to ease Moltarblast's desires", decreed Curano.

"Of course, I'll be glad to", answered Phermona.

Phermona began to sing and placed Moltarblast into a calming trance.

The monitor aboard the boat lit up with the Wizard on it.

"The mission must be reevaluated. I did not suspect such an unknown factor to be present. Our battle with the Fantastic Four must be delayed. We can not face them yet."

"What is the meaning of this?" yelled an angry Curano.

Moltarblast also became enraged with the Wizard's comments.

"Me angry!! Me blast!! Me blast now!!" decreed Moltarblast.

Moltarblast fired his cannons and lava spewed out from their barrels. Lava burnt through the boats helm and flew toward the unsuspecting crowd of reporters. The crowd screamed and ran from the hot projectiles. The Wizard looks with both dismay and disgust.

No!! I knew I should haves stuck with some professionals.

"But nevertheless. Frightful Four, attack!!!" commanded the Wizard.

The Wizard placed his trademark gravity discs upon his feet and he levitated above the crowd. Reed saw the Wizard rise above the surface from a distance.

"It's the Wizard!!!"

Johnny's face lit up with excitement.

All right, time for some action, thought Johnny.

Sue saw Curano as she sprinted toward the group with spear in hand.

"The one in the leopard skin is mine!" exclaimed Sue.

Ben saw the bulky Moltarblast rush towards them.

"I got the big one!" shouted Ben.

Reed stepped in front of Ben.

"Ben, I think you're mistaken. I'm now more apt to take on the big lugs then you. My stretching powers are good for some things, but this looks like it's going to need some brute force to handle the situation. You go get the Wizard, but keep your wits about you," advised Reed.

Ben stood in awe of Reed's recommendation.

Wow! Reed wants me to take down the Wizard.

Reed picked the stage up with his monstrous strength and flung it at Moltarblast. Reed had made a direct hit on Moltarblast's head with no affect.

"Me mad! Me burn things! You burn!" ranted Moltarblast.

Moltarblast shot his molten cannons at Reed. The glistening lava flew at Reed who dodged the hot projectiles by making a large leap into the air.

Sue had been separated from the rest with Curano. Sue stood battle ready for Curano to strike.

"Sue Richards, I have heard much of your battles", said Curano.

"Why are you attacking us? We have no grudge with you", stated Sue.

Curano's eyes lit with hatred.

"I shall make your pretty golden hair burnt black like ash", warned Curano.

Sue came to the realization that there was no hope of reaching a compromise.

"Alright that's it. Flame on!!"

Sue burst into flames and rose above the ground.

Johnny stood in front of Phermona.

"So, what's a pretty face like yours doing in a biz like this?" asked Johnny.

"You're a pretty boy. I hate pretty boys. I kill pretty boys", answered Phermona.

Johnny backed away.

"Gulp! Alright, sorry about this, but I'm going to have to punch your lights out."

Johnny turned invisible and the battle began.

Ben rushed toward the Wizard.

"Ah! Ben Grimm, you never did have the looks of the group", stated the Wizard.

"Where's your egghead hat?"

The Wizard began to laugh.

"I'm the original here. You are nothing, but a lame copy. Surprised I'd be forced to match wits with a twit", spoke the Wizard.

"You forget we ain't here to match wits. I'm just here to clobber you", stated Ben.

Before the Wizard could react Ben used his new stretching abilities to shape himself into a round ball and bounced into an off guard Wizard.

"Okay miscreant, now you have my attentions", declared the Wizard.

Doom continued to monitor the battle at hand between the Fantastic Four and the Frightful Four.

So, the battle has begun. Quite interesting match-ups. Perhaps Ben Grimm may surprise me yet.

Cosmicus's vessel hovered above the atmosphere of Earth. Cosmicus sat upon the bridge in his captain's chair. The computer interrupted Cosmicus's train of thought.

"Cosmicus..."

"Yes, computer."

"While monitoring Earth communication waves I have discovered something of interest. As we speak the Four are currently in battle," spoke the computer.

"How is this bad computer?" questioned Cosmicus.

"Well, I have run a calculation of the battle's outcome. It appears that the Fantastic Four have a 98% chance of losing."

"No, I won't allow this!! I came all this way to confront them!! Only I will have the glory of their defeat!! ONLY I!!" yelled Cosmicus.
