"Why did you choose this time to come to?" Reed asked Lila

"I came because Franklin told me to," Lila said.

"Franklin! Exactly what year do you come from?" Reed asked growing more and more curious about Lila.

"I come from the year 5015. You must already know how powerful Franklin is and it shouldn't surprise you that he lives so long," Lila replied.

"I guess it shouldn't. Can you tell me about these Energy Corsairs?" Reed asked wanting to know about his inevitable opponent.

"Sure I'll tell you all I know. My brother Bobby leads them, but he likes to be called Lamalk. He can manipulate reality to a very large extent, but because of Franklin he can never manipulate the Fantastic Four or their descendants. My brother's best friend is named Reeler. He is able to create spears that can pierce through a 100 feet of adamantium easily. Reeler's sister is called Lucy Loco and she has physic abilities, but all she can use them for is to drive someone crazy. Whenever she drives someone crazy it is very likely after a period of time they will become sane. Lucy Loco's clone is called Herbian, but she doesn't have the same powers as Lucy Loco. See, she was experimented on by the Olympians and she became like the avatar of nature. She is able to control each and every aspect of nature. That makes her a deadly threat. Lucy Loco's son from an alternate reality is called Julien. He can manipulate ice, metal, gravity, and wind. That's the basic lowdown on the Energy Corsairs," Lila explained.

"Do you have any powers?" Reed asked.

"Yes of course. See in my time every baby at birth has their x-gene activated. Mutants should have replaced humans long ago, but due to some manipulation from Jacob Darkholme in the year 4100, mutants were unable to be born anymore. Anyway, my powers include powerful optic blasts, super-strength, a healing factor, super senses, low telekinesis, and elemental manipulation," Lila told Reed.

"Sounds like you can take on the whole Energy Corsairs solo," Mr. Fantastic said.

"Far from it. My powers are useless against the Energy Corsairs because Franklin decreed that my powers could never harm the Energy Corsairs. He said it was because if I destroyed them, he knew I would eventually become evil," Lila explained.

"My baby boy sounds like he is the head honcho in your time. Why are the Energy Corsairs after your baby? Is it because of revenge or some other motive? " Reed asked.

"My baby has the same powers as Franklin does and the Energy Corsairs want him so they can have someone to eventually combat Franklin," Lila said.

"No offense, but Bobby isn't so smart. I would have just went to the Celestials for help or some other cosmic being instead of just waiting for some kid to grow up," Maggott said, walking into the room having overheard Lila.

"The Celestials, Galactus, The Elders, Infinity, Eternity and Death were all destroyed by Franklin in 4855. He made Odin become Infinity, Zeus became Eternity and Thanos at long last became Death," Lila explained.

"Just by you telling us this isn't that changing your timeline?" Maggott asked.

"I know this, but maybe it is for the better. The time I lived in wasn't exactly a utopia," Lila said.

"How so?" Reed inquiried.

"The ruler of the Earth Empire, Laocoon Banner, is a scumbag and he neglects the outer colonies, as they are constantly attacked by Brood hordes. The governor of Mars, the planet I am from, is ruled by another slimeball named Heathen Summers and his wife Kari Summers. Countless Shi'ar and Kree die every day because of the war between them. The Skrull are almost an extinct race because of their war with the Phalanx. The Z'Nox and Quists are all dying of some plague invented by the Earth government. It is truly a horrible time," Lila said.

"I see why you left that place now," Maggott said, shocked by what Lila had said.

"Yes, but what happens if I have made my future worse than it already is?" Lila said.

"We'll never know. We just have to focus on the present," Reed said. All of a sudden Invisible Woman busted through the door.

"Some guys are attacking downtown," Invisible Woman said.

"Let's go. Lila you can stay here with Alicia," Mr. Fantastic said.

Downtown

"I suggest you guys back down here and now or there is going to be trouble!" Invisible Woman yelled.

"We Energy Corsairs like trouble!" Lamalk said.

"So you guys are the Energy Corsairs. Let's take them," Invisible Woman commanded.

Mutant Forger charged straight into battle with Lamalk. Mutant Forger used his telekinesis to squeeze the heart of Lamalk. He yelled out in pain, but he returned the favor by turning Mutant Forger into an old man and knocking out his powers. Mutant Forger fell to the ground hard, but he had a stun gun he had taken from Reed's lab. He lifted it up and shot an unsuspecting Lamalk, knocking him unconscious. Mutant Forger suddenly felt himself get younger and his powers returning to him.

Invisible Woman hit Reeler in the head with an invisible force field in the shape of a bat. Reeler retaliated by shooting off three of his spears at Invisible Woman. Sue erected a force field to block them, but the spears crashed through it. Luckily Sue was agile enough so that the spears didn't hit her. Reeler shot off another spear. Sue tried to dodge that one but it stabbed straight through her thigh and the momentum of it sent Sue flying into a car hanging by a spear. Maggott, seeing Sue's dilemma, jumped to her aid. Maggott attached a maggot onto Sue so he could gain her powers. He then created a force field in one of Reeler's veins and expanded it so it would burst. Reeler fell back in pain and Maggott taking advantage of the opportunity used his enhanced strength to knock Reeler out with a kick to the head.

Lucy Loco meanwhile was fighting with a mutant created by Mutant Forger. The mutant was composed of pure electricity and was using it against Lucy Loco. Lucy was extremely busy dodging the mutant's blows, but she wasn't too busy to mess with the mutant's mind. Before Lucy Loco could completely ruin his mind, the Human Torch's fire blasted her in the back. The mutant was still a problem though, so Human Torch used his ice powers to freeze the mutant permanently.

Herbian was definitely getting the better of Mr. Fantastic. She was turning the oxygen in his lungs into carbon dioxide causing him to be exhausted because he couldn't take in any air. Herbian was wrapping Thing in vines that she then turned to titanium. Invisible Woman used her powers to get herself off of the car and then send the spear straight into Herbian's shoulder where she knew it wouldn't kill her.

"ARGHH!" Herbian screamed in pain as she fell to the ground. Mr. Fantastic was able to breathe in oxygen again and Thing managed to grow himself out of the titanium vines.

Julien was the only one of the Energy Corsairs left. So he used the wind to lift him and his teammates away from their opponents. "We barely won that one," Invisible Woman said.

"Tell me about... Sue are you alright! We got to get her back to the FF Plaza immediately!," Reed shouted.

"Calm down Reed! I am alright there is no need to worry," Sue said.

"Sue you really have to be careful. You might lose the baby," Reed said.

"You worry too much, Reed," Sue said.
