When the Massachusetts Academy for Gifted Youngsters was founded it was the intention of nurturing, training and guiding the next Generation of X-Men. It Failed. Following the death of one of their own, killed by one of their Tutors, the class was forced too disband. In the months that followed they were abandoned, manipulated and tortured by those they should have been able to trust. Now, long after their Graduation, the Class of Generation X has been brought back together, reformed under the growing new vision of Monet St. Croix. They are no longer the next generation of X-Men, they are the new generation of mutants, and the future belongs to the young.
Monet St. Croix has spent much of her life in captivity or under the control of others, her will bent towards their own ends. Now freed from her mental, physical and literal captivity, this young woman has decided to take her life, and destiny, into her own hands, but what does this mean for those who have abused her in the past...and the world as a whole?
SYNCH
As the long standing moral backbone of Generation X, Everett Thomas is perhaps the most well adjusted member of Generation X. Although lacking the long term desire to be a "Superhero", this young man remains determined to make a difference in the world, believing its every mans responsibility to leave it a little better than when they found it.
JUBILEE
Jubilation Lee has worn the X for longer than any other member of her team, a fact she is more than happy to remind everyone of. Despite her youth, young Ms. Lee has had too endure considerable hardship in her comparatively short life. Despite captivity, abuse and torture, however, Jubilee remains true to her nature, refusing to allow those who would harm her friends and those she cares about, to break her will.
SKIN
After being born and raised in a harsh environment, Angelo Espinosa quickly came to expect little from life. Initially sceptical of what the Academy could do for him, and distrustful of his fellow students, Angelo would soon come to consider them his friends, and even his family. Now, with graduation long behind them, and after the class was disbanded, Angelo has found himself back amongst his friends, perhaps even believing his life may be worth something after all.
MOLLY HAYES
As the only daughter of Career Criminals and a witness to a murder, young Molly Hayes has found herself under the Unofficial Guardianship of Generation X. Although somewhat disgruntled that she is the only resident at the St. Croix Institute forced too undergo schooling, Molly is otherwise embracing her new life as a "Trainee Superhero" with open arms. Just as she is embracing the members of Generation X as the Brothers and Sisters she never had.
CHAMBER
Recent trials and events have left the psyche of Jonathon Starsmore shattered, perhaps beyond repair. After recovering from two week long coma, Jonathon has awoken a different man, demonstrating the traits of another’s personality and believing himself to be someone else entirely. Has the body of Jonathon Starsmore really been overtaken by the mind of another, or has the young Englishmen simply lost his grip on reality?
