HALL OF FAME
The Best of the Best!

They are Legends, and not just in their own minds! The people in this hallowed hall have made their mark on Marvel 2000 and have been given the highest honor that one can get doing a lot of work without getting paid to do it (how's that for a run-on sentence?). Be they writers, editors, or fluffy bunnies, they are truly the very best Marvel 2000 has to offer.

2002
Russ Anderson

The first inductee is Russ Anderson. He's been here a long time. Iron Man, Fallen Angels, Defenders, and now Avengers West Coast have cemented his rep as a solid writer and his time as EiC showed what he could do to lead a ragtag group of writers, setting the standard for all to come.

2003
David Wheatley

The former EiC, longtime writer of Wolverine, X-Force, Excalibur, X-Men 2099 and X-Men Prime, he has written a substantial amount of single issues on the other titles. While there's an amount of people who object to the way he did things, he did them for the good of the site and that's been recognized by the voters by naming the 2003 Inductee to the Marvel 2000 Hall of Fame.

2004
Dino Pollard

Russ Anderson and David Wheatley were stand out choices for Hall of Fame, but Dino Pollard started it all and has contributed more to M2K then anyone else. The guy is not only two time Editor-in-Chief at the site, but he's the founder of the group along with Jay Corafa and has written over twelve titles for the site in his on-again off-again career here.

2005
Cory Wiegel

We all know Cory from his work on Spider-Man and X-Men, his infamous comments and remarks on boards and mailing lists across the fanfic world and of late he’s developed in to a responsible and dedicated EiC of M2K. He started with some rough edges, and he’s smoothed them out, with a little help, and he’s worked hard to get M2K going again. He tried to run away but the fans cried out for him to stay!

2006
Brad Horton

I'll be the first one to say it; I was surprised as all Chicago Bears fans that Brad Horton not only won this award, but plain kicked the shit out of everyone else in a landslide vote to win it. Of course, anyone who wasn't a Chicago Bears fans saw the Indianapolis Colts totally curbing the Bears at the Superbowl, so it should come to the surprise of no one - especially this year's voters who supported him en mass - that Brad's been inducted into Marvel 2000's Hall of Fame, which damn near guarantees him a spot in Fanfic Heaven!

Known for his stellar work on such titles as Cable, Captain Marvel, Deadpool, and X-Corp, Brad has been a staple writer at Marvel 2000 for the last six years writing over 155 issues spread out over ten titles for the site! In that time, he's also provided countless images, reviews, and coding tech support for the site, as well as participated regularly in the group and has even gone as far as to HTML his own issues for us! At one point, Brad was also the Editor-in-Chief of Marvel 2000 and was integral in the rebuilding of the group and site after DigitallyMystic crashed and nearly put the lid on M2K for good.

Take note, Brad did all of that while scoring hot chicks in clubs, completing his Bachelor's Degree in Art School, working part time and sometimes full jobs, and getting his illustration career off the ground. With all of that in mind, it's not a question of why Brad won a place in Marvel 2000's Hall of Fame, but why he wasn't inducted into it a lot sooner. I'm also proud to say that Brad has been one of the best friends that I've made in my time writing fan fiction and that as he moves on to bigger and better things that I hope he sticks around with us just a little while longer.

Congratulations, Cheesehead! You've more than earned your rightful place in Marvel 2000's Hall of Fame! w00t w00t!

2007
David Golightly

David joined the ranks of M2K's editors after making a mark at the site with HEROES FOR HIRE, X-FORCE, and THE VAULT. With a couple other stories under his belt, a ton of work overhauling the site, and a budding following through his work on ULTIMATE AVENGERS, David has officially been ushered into fanfic history as part of the Hall of Fame!

2008
Stephen Crosby

The first non-editor to be inducted into Marvel 2000’s Hall of Fame is none-other than… Stephen Crosby! Writer of Avengers and Captain America, as well as a guest-stint on New Warriors and several one-shot anthologies, it’s no wonder that Steve was chosen overwhelmingly by Marvel 2000’s fans to join the short list of the site’s most valuable writers in history. He’s been instrumental in shaping the Heroes Branch into the juggernaut of an imprint that it currently is and making the Avengers not just the flagship title of the Heroes Branch, but of Marvel 2000, period. Not only that, but he’s one hell of a writer to boot.

Currently, Steve is the man responsible for bringing the long awaited Kang/Ultron War to life along with Chris Munn, and he’s even got a few endeavors with the X-Men Branch lined up to follow shortly after the event concludes. If he isn’t the model writer for the site then I don’t know who is. Steve, you truly are the people’s fanfic writer! Congratulations and welcome to Marvel 2000’s Hall of Fame!!!

2009
Josh Reynolds

Having never written for the site before, Josh was recruited by none other than D. Golightly to pick-up Avengers West Coast from where Russ Anderson and Chris Munn left off. What followed was an epic run that forever changed the status quo of Marvel 2000's left coast and inspired a migration of heroes to San Francisco in order to defend the weakened city from a horde of monsters, super-villain teams, and civil unrest. As if his stellar collection of stories wasn't enough of a contribution, Josh also became an Assistant Editor-in-Chief overseeing the Knights and Heroes Branches, a position that has proven instrumental in the growth, development, and continued success of Marvel 2000 for over two years.

Very few others have done as much for the site as this man, and that's the reason why our readers and writers alike have chosen him to be entered into the Hall of Fame. CONGRATULATIONS, JOSH!!!
