Rahne Sinclair is an orphan born with the mutant ability to transform into a werewolf like creature. When she first manifested her powers, she was nearly killed by a fearful mob. She was rescued and adopted by Moira MacTaggert, whom Rahne came to love as a mother. Recently, Moira was killed in a terrorist attack, and Rahne was left alone again. Kidnapped, brutally tortured and left crippled only weeks after her mother’s death, Rahne must now struggle to reclaim what little life she has.
