Thor
Galactus

Galactus' eyes widened as the Negative energies waned, his source of nourishment vanishing.  He strained, grasping at that final spark, but the powers were gone, lost even to him. So soon had he been released from the grasp of the Skrulls, and sent a universe away, with the promise of unlimited power to feed his all-encompassing hunger...only to be returned to his previous condition.

He cursed Thanos (Darkseid) for temporarily releasing him from his prison of a human body--a body that he had not had for millennia--only to return him to that same form when his otherworldly enchantment had faded. Now, he was returned to the state he had been as the result of his battle with Infinity.

"Nooooo!" Galactus screamed, remembering at long last where he was immediately prior to the interference by Thanos (Darkseid).

His memory told the tale: There was a flash, and suddenly he was elsewhere. He scanned the heavens, that great black void that surrounded the edge, the very end of eternity. There was darkness and cold. He could feel the cold. He looked down upon his form, his majesty and found it withered and wanting. It was gone, replaced by the human body he inhabited so long ago, when he was a mere explorer, seeking to find a cure for the plague that was threatening his people... only to send his ship and its crew into his galaxy's sun.

Galactus looked up, and for the second time in recent memory, he paled.  He saw the armada; hundreds of ships heading his way through the black void, bearing down on him.  He tried to call the power forth, some miniscule vestige of the power he once commanded so casually.  He tried to defend against the approaching ships, bent on vengeance, but there was nothing. Nothing...

The power had deserted him.  HE was nothing...

A prisoner of the Skrulls once more...
